The Alpha course
Alpha is a series of sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha consists of ten 30-minute videos, looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?', 'Why and how do I pray?' and ‘Why go to church?’. Each talk is followed by discussion.
Alpha is literally for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge or belief in Christianity and all are welcome.
You don’t have to come for the whole course - just pop along for the first session and see what you think. No pressure, no follow up and no charge.
We are able to offer the Alpha Course on a flexible 'bespoke' basis to fit in with times and venues that suit those who want to benefit. Whether it's with a coffee at 11am, at lunchtime (served with soup and a roll) or in the evening, we want the course to be accessible to all.
If you feel this is something you’d like to do, either on your own or with a friend, simply ring Tim Blair, Alpha Co-ordinator on 07950 179165 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can set up the arrangements that work best for you.
